Are you overwhelmed by the fast pace of life? Are you looking for ways to find peace and tranquility in the busyness of your day-to-day activities and duties? Register for this preconference and find ways to establish peace and tranquility for yourself. The methods learned in the preconference will all be appropriate for teaching your TRIO participants how they too can relieve anxiety and live a more tranquil life.
This workshop is an experiential exercise to promote mental health wellness and create a space where TRIO professionals can take deep breaths and release the tension. Attendees will experience a meditation exercise to guide participants to a relaxed state; a variety of mindfulness activities will be discussed; small groups will be utilized to engage participants and finally, each person will have an opportunity to create a mindfulness focused painting!
This Preconference is designed for all TRIO professionals.
