The Effectiveness of Trauma-Informed Care Implementation in TRIO Setting(s)
Given the growing pace of traumatic exposures and the profound impact of trauma in program settings, a trauma-informed care (TIC) approach in programs such as TRIO is critical. TIC seeks to promote safety within programs such as TRIO with an effort to prevent/reduce re-traumatization. The lack of systems-level data has been a major barrier to TIC implementation. This workshop material is aimed at providing understanding, mechanisms, and outcomes effective to effectively implement TIC across TRIO and other partnering participants.
